The Iron Point Center is located on a prime estate in fast-expanding Folsom, less than a mile from the campus of global microchip giant, Intel. This class A office space is just off highway 50, and is 20 miles from downtown Sacramento. Major employers represent a diverse base of businesses, from high technology to food manufacturers, retail, healthcare and education. Intel heads the list with nearly 6,000 technicians, engineers, and marketing, sales and support staff at its research and design campus. Tourism is important too: Folsom Dam created Folsom Lake, which draws more than two million visitors a year. The city is also intersected by Lake Natoma, which is ringed by walking, biking, and equestrian trails. With Folsom's notorious hot summers, both bodies of water are popular. Folsom also has a commuter rail link to Sacramento.
